![]() ![]() The bench does show normal signs of wear, including some marks on the fabric top but, aside from cleaning it, we have left the fabric original to allow the new owner the decision as to recover or not. The piano is even accompanied by the original bench. This is an Acrosonic piano built by Baldwin. There has been no refinishing, no repair and no inclusion of decals or plaques on the front that say “Baldwin” which indicates that the piano has been modified. From the teak finish, to the brass, to the caning, to the original brand decals, this piano is all original. Typically “if” you find this piano, there will be “condition” remarks as well as “restoration” notations. This piano apparently survived in pristine condition due to it remaining in the same family (two different households) for almost 60 years. In over 30 years in the piano business, I have only personally seen three of these pianos – and this one is in absolutely stunning condition. ![]()
